Description: [headstones left to right] Virgil Kellogg Pringle, born July 4, 1804, died March 24, 1887; Pherne Tabitha Brown Pringle, born March 22, 1805, died May 23, 1891; Tabitha Moffatt Brown, born May 1, 1790, died May 4, 1858. Pherne was Tabitha's daughter. Tabitha Moffatt Brown was named The Mother of Oregon by the 1987 Oregon legislature. She founded a orphanage in Forest Grove, Oregon that later became Tualatin Academy and Pacific University.
