Men plant a tree outside the Harvey W. Scott Memorial Library. The tree can still be seen outside the building today. The library began construction on the Pacific University campus on September 13, 1966. The building is not known as Scott Hall and houses student centers, faculty and staff offices, and the Cawein Art Gallery.
