Students in a Pacific University aviation course. Possibly led by Jean Maxine McCurdy Gilman, born in 1920, who obtained her pilot's license while attending Pacific University. She was also the Pendleton Roundup Rodeo Queen which may explain the western style clothing of the young woman on the right.
