Description
-
Black and white studio portrait of a woman in a fashionable, long-sleeved dress, standing behind a rocking chair. She wears a tightly fitted bodice with lapels and contrast stripes over a bell shaped skirt with the overskirt draped over the front and swept up at the back to where the bustle is covered by several layers of apron-style fabric drapes with contrasting trim at the bottom. She wears a ribbon tie around her collar, and her hair is pulled back and up on her head, with curly bangs at the front.
