Unidentified double wedding
-
Description
-
Black and white image of two couples. In the center of the group, each woman wears a long bridal dress, a veil, and holds a bouquet, while the men each wear a suit and tie. The women's hair is curly and shoulder length and pulled back from their faces. Two young girls stand on either side of the group, wearing matching long dresses and heart-shaped headpieces and holding small bouquets. This image is part of the Herbert E. McMullen bequest, donated to the museum on his deathbed due to the nagging of two other photographers. McMullen was a local photographer; he owned Hillsboro Studio and also collected photographs taken in the area by other photographers.
