Signs on the tank promise 'Happier living beyond the gas line with Hydro-Gas for cooking, heating, lighting, refrigeration, hot water. The Multnomah Fuel Co., Portland, Oregon.' A large barn is in the background. This image is part of the Herbert McMullen bequest. McMullen was a local photographer for many years, and he also collected other photographers work which depicted daily life in the area.
