Description

A group of seventeen women pose in an interior room. Five are seated behind two square tables; a basket of flowers rests on each table and a larger arrangement is visible in the foreground of the image. the rest are arrayed in two rows behind the seated women. All are dressed up, and all but two of the women wear hats and corsages, and most are older. The hats are small, with narrow brims and all have some sort of ornamentation, floral or feathered. The skirts visible are just below the knee, and the women wear heels and stockings.
