First Home, Forest Grove National Bank
-
Description
-
Man stands on the step in front of a narrow brick building with a wooden front, fronted by a concrete sidewalk and curb, with an open garage door in the building next door. The man wears a long coat over a suit and has what appears to be a top hat. The building has a large, four-paned window next to a door with four panes of glass in the upper half and a transom above, and then another, smaller set of double windows on the other side. The street is slanted, and the building rests on what appears to be a poured concrete foundation. White lettering at the bottom of the picture, and a typewritten note is glued to the top.
