The Vista House was completed in 1918 and was an observatory and also serves as a memorial to Oregon pioneers and as a rest stop for travelers on the Historic Columbia River Highway. The Vista House is 733 feet above the Columbia River offering beautiful views of the Columbia River Gorge.
