Auburn Theological Seminary
Auburn, N.Y., Oct. 21, 1880.

DEAR BROTHER:

I am unable to obtain any satisfactory information, for our new Historical Catalogue, concerning the men named in the inclosed list, who were in the Seminary with you. Will you kindly write me your recollection of them, and of what became of them?

Will you also advise me if any changes, since you wrote me, make it necessary to change any part of your record in the Catalogue?

The Seminary has no set of its catalogues previous to 1860 We should be glad to obtain, by gift or purchase, enough copies of the older catalogues to make out one or more sets. Can you assist us in this?

The copy of the Historical Catalogue is now in the shape to be rapidly prepared for the press, as soon as the replies to this circular are received. It is desirable, therefore, that the replies be sent very promptly. But a reply will be of use for some future edition, even if it should be too late for the present edition.

Very Truly Yours,
Willis J. Beecher.
