Chandelier lights in the central stairwell of Pacific University's Harvey W. Scott Memorial Library. This photograph was probably taken close to the time the library opened in the late 1960s, although it could date from somewhat later. The chandelier appears in the foreground, while in the background, there are stairs and a reading area near the book stacks on the second floor, with a student sitting at a study carrel.
