Unidentified wedding party
-
Description
-
Black and white image of four young people, two women and two men. The couple in the center of the picture are most likely the bride and groom; he wears a dark suit with a boutonniere, while she wears a long, light colored satin dress with a lace top. A long veil is gathered about her head and then falls down behind her, and she carries a large bouquet of roses. The young woman beside her carries a similar bouquet, and her dress and headdress is similar in style to the bride's, but lacks the lace and veil accessories. This image is part of the Herbert E. McMullen bequest. McMullen was a local photographer; he owned Hillsboro Studio and also collected photographs taken in the area by other photographers.
