Description

Three lists of baptisms and deaths recorded by the Methodist Episcopal Church in Oregon, probably compiled in the mid-1850s: 1. "Baptized on West Tualatin Plains Circuit," 1857-1860; 2. "Baptized on Oswego Circuit," 1845 and 1854-1855; 3. "Deaths of Members on Oswego Circuit," 1855. This document is part of a record book compiled between 1854-1884 by several different Methodist circuits in Oregon, centered on the Forest Grove and Hillsboro areas. The record book was found in a building on the southwest corner of Main Street and Pacific Avenue in Forest Grove in 2021.
