A program for the oratorical annual banquet held in McMinnville, Oregon on March 8th, 1907. Representatives from seven different colleges in Oregon met in McMinnville to compete. William Elisha Gwynn, a Pacific University student, took third prize for his speech called, 'The Crown of Citizenship'. Gwynn was a 1910 Pacific University graduate. The banquet included an eight-course meal, the menu can be viewed in the program. After the lunch, several speakers spoke on the subject of the college man. This program appears in a scrapbook compiled by Frances B. Clapp, a 1908 Pacific University graduate.
