Photograph of Pacific University's Old College Hall. This image was probably taken before Old College Hall was moved from its original location, to make way for Marsh Hall. Notice the porch of the original Herrick Hall, visible to the left of the building.
Chandelier lights in the central stairwell of Pacific University's Harvey W. Scott Memorial Library. This photograph was probably taken close to the time the library opened in the late 1960s, although it could date from somewhat later. The chandelier appears in the foreground, while in the background, there are stairs and a reading area near the book stacks on the second floor, with a student sitting at a study carrel.
Photograph of the exterior of Pacific University's Price Hall. This picture appears to date from around the time when it was built in 1987. At that time, it was called the Physical Therapy Building. In 2007, it was rededicated in honor of Henry Price, who was a professor of mathematics and later, the Dean of Faculty (served 1908-1910 and 1920-1953). The building has served as the home to Pacific's mathematics and computer science departments.
Photograph of Dr. Cyril K. Gloyn and students in a small class at Pacific University. This photograph was posed, probably in order to use in promotional publications by the university. It likely dates from 1944, which was the last year Cyril Gloyn served as a Professor of Philosophy and Religion. The male student seated on the left is Forest Bump (Pacific University Class of 1942; he later enrolled as a graduate student).
