Herrick Hall was the female dormitory at Pacific University from 1884 to 1973. In 1906, the First Herrick Hall set fire and was reconstructed as Second Herrick Hall. The second Herrick caught fire again on January 2, 1973 and was torn down.
The painting of Harvey W. Scott was created in the late 1960's when Pacific University constructed in the Harvey W. Scott Memorial Library. Scott was the first graduate of Pacific University.
Dr. Baldmire sent this photo to Pacific University from Boston, Massachusetts in the early 1900s. The back of the photo says he was part of the Braille Society.
