One of the dolls is a printed fabric doll, much like the ones available today, where the pieces, including the face and hair, are printed on a fabric panel, then cut out and assembled at home and stuffed. The teddy bear means that the photo was taken sometime after 1903, since the first teddy bears were marketed at that time in Europe and the United States.
