A photograph of a female Pacific University student posing on the beach. She could possibly be part of the Y.W.C.A. or Young Women's Christian Association. The Y.W.C.A. was founded in Portland in 1907. Forest Grove would eventually have their own branch at Pacific University. Young woman would often travel together to the beach with their Y.W.C.A. group. This photograph appears in an album that was compiled by Edith Hansen McGill, a 1930 Pacific University graduate.
