A memo on a call from Colonel Pankratz by Gerry Thompson reporting to Governor Atiyeh on August 15, 1983. Oregon State Police and county sheriffs in Prineville arrested picketers for holding mill workers hostage when evacuation orders were initiated. Other topics addressed in the report included: a Willamina strike; a Pendleton strike; and the Willamina mill. This is one document from a binder containing selected daily reports to the Governor, which was compiled by Gerry Thompson.
